Our hours of operation for the centers are updated semesterly under Hours and Locations, and they're also listed at the bottom of the left-hand navigation.
For labs, current hours of operation are posted in the lab and are available at the Academic Department Website.
What if I Can't Make the Tutoring Session I Scheduled?
Students are encouraged to cancel sessions with at least 3 hours notice. Please click
here for more information on how to cancel a session.
Misses and cancellations with less than 3 hours notice are recorded and have an impact on your ability to book future appointments.
We understand that things come up, so when in doubt or when you need to cancel with less than 3 hours notice, just call or email!
How Often Can I Meet with a Tutor?
Students can book up to 4 sessions per week (Monday-Saturday), with unlimited drop-ins.
If you are looking for extra help but aren't sure what will work with your schedule, we encourage you to call or email us and we can talk about the support options that might work for you.
Do I have to Pay for Tutoring?
Tutoring comes at no additional cost for SUNY Orange students enrolled in course for credit!
My Schedule is Crazy ... Are there Other Tutoring Options Available Besides On-Campus?
First of all, we completely understand! Second of all, yes!
Our tutors are available both in person and online. If you're scheduled to meet with a tutor on campus, you can switch the session location to online (or vice versa) in Orange Connect. Please note that the ability to switch locations may not be available for certain tutors or session times. Feel free to let us know if you have any questions or experience any difficulties while changing your session location in Orange Connect!
NetTutor is online tutoring that is available after hours (24/7 for Math & English), and is totally free for SUNY Orange students. To start a NetTutor session, simply go to My.SUNYOrange.edu. Under "Student Services/Resources," just click on "NetTutor."
Visit CSS Online more information about NetTutor and other online resources available for you.
Can I Bring a Friend to My Session?
If you are interested in having a friend (who is also a SUNY Orange student) or classmate
join your scheduled session, just let us know!
We also offer tutor-led study groups as well.
