Pre-Admission Information
Pre-Admission Seminar
Students applying to the Radiologic Technology program are required to attend one Pre-Admission Seminar within three years prior to the application deadline (February 1st). Attendance is good for three years, students do not need to repeat if they don't get in until the date expires, however students are encouraged to attend if they do not get in so they continue to have the most up-to-date information.
Starting in 2025, registration is required. Seminars are in person only at the specified dates and times designated by the department.
The Pre-Admission seminar is designed to give prospective applicants important information about both the field and program. Program faculty describe the admissions process, field of Radiologic Technology, important policies, accreditation and licensing information, give an overview of clinical, and other detailed information. Prospective students are encouraged to ask questions about the program and profession to get a better understand of what both entail to help them decide if this is the right field for them.
All sessions for the Feb 1st 2025 application deadline are complete.
Dates for the Fall of 2025 will be posted in August 2025. Please revisit this site in August for dates and registration information.
Meeting Etiquette:
- We ask only the prospective student to attend the seminar.
- Please do not bring children, family, or friends as we often have a very large turnout and want to make sure there's enough seating for students looking to attend the program.
- Participants must be present for the entire seminar (start to finish). This means arrive early as there's no late entry which would disrupt the session for both participants and the hosts.
- There are no make-up or personal sessions (not even if it's the last session). If a participant is late or misses the session, they must attend another session.
Please understand, with over 120 applicants and over 200 seminar participants we need to treat all students fair and equal so individual situations cannot be accommodated.
