Virtual Math Lab

The Math Lab is available for all students taking math classes at SUNY Orange. We tutor all levels of math from Fundamentals of Arithmetic to Differential Equations. Visit the Math Lab any time during our online hours to ask a question about a specific problem or help with understanding a concept.

No appointment is needed in our Virtual Math Lab.

How the Zoom Math Lab works

1. You will see a waiting screen, please be patient until you are placed in a specific room with a tutor.
2. Next, you will be asked by a tutor for login information, this is what they would normally do at the Math Lab.
3. From there, the tutor you are assigned to will explain how the room will work.

Zoom Link For Math Lab

To access the Math Lab Zoom link, please log-in to MySUNYOrange  and click on the "Student Services / Resources" tab on the left.   At the top right, under the "Center for Student Success Center" portlet, click on the "Zoom Link for Math Lab".

 

Zoom using a computer

If it is your first time using Zoom from that device the computer will ask you to download Zoom and you will click yes (It downloads instantly!).  It will ask you to enable your mic and video which you will allow. Do not use safari to open the link or you will have issues getting into the Math Lab Zoom room.

Zoom using a smartphone or tablet

If you are using a smartphone or tablet, go to the iOS App Store or Google Play, search for Zoom Cloud Meetings and download the app. We encourage you to do this even if you are primarily using a computer – your phone or tablet serves as a useful backup.
