Testing Center

SUNY Orange's Testing Center provides testing services to SUNY Orange students. Our mission is to provide a reliable and secure testing environment in order to give test takers a fair opportunity for academic and professional success.

We are not able to accommodate the proctoring and administration of other institution's placement or course exams at this time.

Location

Testing at the Middletown Campus will be held in the Testing Center, which is located in Room 227 of the Shepard Student Center. Testing at the Newburgh Campus will be held in Kaplan Hall.

Information for Students With Disabilities

Reasonable accommodations are available for test takers with documented disabilities. Students are responsible for notifying the Testing Center of their need for a testing accommodation at least two weeks before the preferred test date.

SUNY Orange students requiring accommodations must be registered with the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS).

Students who are not currently registered with OAS must schedule an intake appointment and provide current documentation of disability. Please visit the OAS website for a list of documentation requirements. Accommodation requests need to be made to OAS at least two weeks in advance. Please note that the Testing Center cannot provide accommodations for SUNY Orange students without an official accommodation letter.

Refunds

Exam fees are non-refundable.

College Closings & Delays

College closings and delays are published online, shared via social media platforms and emailed to College students and employees. When the college is closed or delayed during your test appointment, do not report to the Testing Center. When the college reopens, we will contact you to reschedule.
