During my time here at SUNY Orange I have been an active member of the college serving as a club advisor for the Psychology Club, volunteering at New Student Orientations and Open House events, and coordinating events with community services to help raise awareness and understanding of mental health and social issues that our diverse student and community population face.

Other thoughts/philosophies:

I am extremely passionate about Psychology and Human Services and how EVERYTHING we study in these fields can be applied and useful in everyday life.

I am also extremely passionate about education.  I believe in empowering students to be active participants in their education and life, and guiding them on their path to success.

I believe that bad things happen to good people, but ultimately, life is about choices, and we are responsible for the choices that we make. Nothing is more empowering that knowing that we may not choose everything that happens in our life, but we can choose how we react and move forward.

"I am only one, but still I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do."
