MHA Rate of Pursuit

For students receiving the Post 9/11 GI Bill® or the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship, please refer to the following chart.

Current MHA rates may be found on the DOD BAH Calculator website, using ZIP code 10940 and E-5 with dependents pay grade.

Fall and Spring Semesters

11 credits	90%
10 credits	80%
9 credits	80%
8 credits	70%
7 credits	60%
6.5 credits	50%
6 credits or below	Not eligible for MHA

*Students that are taking all online courses are eligible for half the national average MHA.

The amount of MHA a student will receive is also dependent on the student's eligibility percentage. For example, a student who is eligible for 90% under the Post 9/11 GI Bill® would receive 90% of the above rates.
