Online Learning at SUNY Orange
SUNY ORANGE HAS MOVED TO D2L's BRIGHTSPACE DIGITAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT!
As a member of the first Migration Cohort, SUNY Orange moved from Blackboard to D2L's Brightspace platform for all courses in Fall of 2022 and set up all courses with a corresponding Brightspace course shell.
The SUNY Orange Center for Teaching and Learning and Academic Technology Department continue to provide faculty workshops and training for Brightspace. Faculty can also sign up for SUNY-provided training at the The SUNY DLE Website
Student Training for Brightspace - All SUNY Orange students have access to a self-paced "Student Training for Brightspace" course, available from the Brightspace home page. There is also a weekly Brightspace Q&A drop-in for Students and Faculty in Rowley 19 on Thursday afternoons from 1 - 3 pm during the Spring 2023 semester.
A link to Brightspace Help and Brightspace Resources can be found in the Brightspace Navbar (blue bar at the top of the Brightspace Home page).
