Maynard Schmidt is the Director of Admissions & Recruitment. Maynard has over 18 years of higher education experience in both the private and public sector of post-secondary education. In his role, he plans on-campus recruitment events, manages the CRM event management system  & communication plan, oversees the international student process as PDSO, evaluates selective health profession admission programs and represents the college at high school college fair programs. He also travels and recruits at various high schools throughout Orange, Ulster, Dutchess and Sullivan County.

Maynard graduated with a Master's Degree in Business Administration at Mount Saint Mary College and holds two Bachelor degrees in Media Studies & History from the same institution. He resides in the Hudson Valley with his wife and two children and enjoys coaching his son's baseball team.

Simone Houslin, an avid believer in, and product of higher education, joins SUNY Orange as the Associate Director of Admissions with a wealth of knowledge that she extends to those she is privileged to assist on their educational journey. With a background in Higher Education admissions, having spent years in the Northeast and Southeast enrolling students into college, Simone wears many hats when serving students: recruitment at high schools, career and technical centers, college fairs, and community events, along with event planning, evaluation reviews, and travel coordinator to name a few.

Simone holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Argosy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from North Carolina State University. She enjoys spending time with her family and working towards her God-given Purpose through Christ Jesus.

Bryanna Paoli is the Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruitment. In her role she oversees the student ambassador program, processes placement waiver requests, evaluates selective health profession admissions programs, and represents the college at high school fair programs. She also travels and recruits at various high schools throughout Orange, Ulster, Dutchess and Sullivan County.

Bryanna graduated with a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications at Marist college and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Mount Saint Mary College. She enjoys spending time with her family and dog, outdoor activities and most importantly, coffee.
